Electric Kids
As part of our commitment to public safety, Endeavour Energy is dedicated to educating students on electrical safety.
Electricity Safety Week is designed to raise awareness of electrical hazards and help teachers meet the K-6 syllabus outcomes for PDHPE and Science and Technology.
Electricity Safety Week is celebrated across the state in Term 3, helping students understand how to stay safe around electricity through practical, curriculum-aligned classroom activities and prizes.
This year Electricity Safety Week will be held from the 7th - 11th of September.
Registrations for the 2026 program will open soon. For more information or to be notified when registrations open, please email ekids@primarycommsgroup.com.au.

Help students become an electricity safety coding wiz
Our Scratch project is aligned to the Digital Technologies curriculum. It is designed to be delivered in a 45-minute lesson, to help students create an interactive game about electricity safety. Teachers can use the step-by-step lesson guide with key curriculum outcomes, as well as a starter project already developed in Scratch.

Electricity and Safety Unit for Years 5 and 6
Endeavour Energy has developed an Electricity and Safety Unit for Years 5 and 6, that is aligned with the NSW Science and Technology Stage 3 syllabus.
Developed in collaboration with the NSW Department of Education, the resources include a downloadable lesson book and four interactive whiteboard lessons, with embedded videos, virtual experiments and interactive diagrams to engage your students in learning about electricity and how to be safe around it.
Interactive safety expert videos
Join our safety trainer Warwick, for two 15-minute interactive sessions on electrical safety. Students will need a pen and paper to participate in activities throughout the sessions.
